network¶

List virtual networks and run connectivity tests.

For layout 2.0 Virtual Switch verification, use network list together with the read-only hvmcli virtswitch list, show, and status commands described in virtswitch. VLAN IDs and MTU values are optional; an untagged traffic segment has no VLAN ID.

Commands¶

network list¶

List all configured virtual networks (libvirt networks) on the host.

sudo hvmcli network list

network test¶

Run connectivity tests to verify gateway, DNS, and NTP reachability.

sudo hvmcli network test

Test specific targets:

sudo hvmcli network test --target 8.8.8.8 --target time.google.com

Options:

• --target <host> — Specific host or IP to test connectivity to (can be specified multiple times)
